    This view looks down Columbus Avenue from Vallejo Street toward the City's financial center. Note the streetcar tracks that are now long gone.

    This photo, taken from aproximately the same spot as the one above, shows the tremendous changes that have taken place over the years. If one looks closely, some of the old buildings can be found.



  • Clay Theater 2000

    Taken in July of this year and looking newly painted, the Clay Theater is still in operation but shows mostly art films.
    This section of Fillmore Street is a little more upscale than the rest of it. With San Francisco housing prices among the highest in the nation,
    it's only a matter of time before the whole city will be considered upscale.
